Safety is our top priority, which is why all our scaffolders hold their CISRS card, ensuring they work safely and efficiently on operating sites. In partnership with esteemed training centres like SIMIAN, we take great pride in supporting the development of our scaffolding apprentices, guiding them from obtaining their labourer’s card, through their Part 1 and Part 2 training, all the way to completing their NVQ.

Our comprehensive, hands-on training scheme goes beyond scaffolding, offering employees valuable opportunities to expand their skills into plant operations and management, stimulating long-term growth and career advancement.

Ellison Scaffolding are proud to have achieved CHAS accreditation, having successfully demonstrated compliance with CHAS standards, SSIP Core Criteria, and UK Health & Safety legislation.

We hold regular onsite toolbox talks to enhance safety and raise awareness of potential hazards, ensuring employees are well-informed and prepared to avoid injury. These discussions also encourage better communication, allowing team members to share safety concerns and solutions. Most importantly, toolbox talks reflect our commitment to our employees’ safety.

In our continued commitment to safety, we offer a range of additional training days designed to further equip employees with essential skills for their roles. These include courses in first aid, abrasive wheels, asbestos awareness, manual handling, and banksman training, all aimed at enhancing workplace safety and empowering our team.
